AbstractThe materialized graphic identification memory culturally represents the urban design exposed on the facades of various buildings with communication characteristics in Mexico. This communicative materiality has been discussed from the reflexive and critical observation in historical sectors with effects of meaning contained in customs, traditions and habits that are part of the cultural identity in its social reality. This study, which is in postdoctoral beginnings, intends to account for graphic-communicative recurrences that can channel urban regulations for a better quality of life of the social subject. Keywords: Graphic materiality, communication, manual identification design.
