Agricultural Hygiene

Abstract: The present chapter describes the dilemma of agriculture as both an industry and as a way of life. Despite some increased interest within agriculture to establish safety and health programs due to farms becoming larger and more farms having fallen under the OSHA requirements, agriculture remains one of the most hazardous occupational environments in America.
