Sorption of a series of alkali metals (Ca, Mg, Li, and K) from Bledug Kuwu’s Brine into Lewatit MonoPlus S-108 resins has been studied. Bledug Kuwu’s Brine comprised 15.11 ppm Li, 179.91 ppm K, 72.01 ppm Ca, and 29.76 ppm Mg. The adsorption was carried out by varying pH of brine (4, 6, 8, and 10) and contact time (1, 2, and 4 hours) with continuous flow in column test at room temperature. The result showed the quantity adsorbate in outer resin: K>Li>Ca>Mg in all conditions, which is 0.038–0.043 mmol/g lithium, 0.087–0.09 mmol/g potassium, 0.031–0.035 mmol/g calcium, and 0.023–0.024 mmol/g magnesium into outer resin surface. The selectivity factor to lithium followed Mg/Li > K/Li> Ca/Li in all conditions. Contact time variable provided high lithium separation after the adsorption process for 2–3 hours, while pH had little effect. FTIR results affirm that resin was changed at new peaks M-O-M at low wavenumber with polystyrene crosslinked-divinylbenzene matrix and contains the sulfonic type. The results obtained from ICP were fitted to isotherm models in ion exchange, as follows: Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin-Radushkevic models. The best model of lithium adsorption into Lewatit S-108 is represented by Freundlich and Temkin Model (R2 ≥ 0.82) with 1.0056 mg/g of adsorption capacity (Kf) and 64.885 J/mol of heat process of sorption.

Bayi premature dapat diartikan bayi yang lahir yang tidak memperhitungkan berat badan lahir dengan usia kelahiran atau usia gestasi 37 minggu. Berdasarkan data Prevalensi premature untuk kasus kematian bayi baru lahir diperkirakan 15 % dari angka 1000 kelahiran didunia dan negara dengan sosio-ekonomi rendah.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh nesting terhadap perubahan fisiologis (frekuensi napas, frekuensi nadi, saturasi oksigen) dan perilaku bayi prematur. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan quai eksperimental dengan desaign one group pretest posttest yang melibatkan satu kelompok subjek. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 45 bayi premtur yang dirawat di Pernatologi Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Tangerang dan dipilih denga teknik purposive sampling. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan paired t-test dan wilcoxon test. Hasil analisis menunjukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan nesting terhadap perilaku bayi prematur (p= 0,000) dan terhadap peningkatan saturasi oksigen bayi prematur, frekwensi napas dan frekwensi nadi yaitu dengan nilai (p=0,000). Penggunaan nesting sebagai bentuk developmental care dapat memfasilitasi pencapaian istirahat yang lebih baik (yang ditandai dengan keteraturan fungsi fisiologis dan pencapaian perilaku tidur tenang), sehingga perlu diimplementasikan dalam perawatan bayi prematur di ruang perinatolog

Bledug Kuwu is one of the geological phenomena as a mud volcano that occurs in Kuwu, Purwodadi, Grobogan, Central Java, Indonesia. The evaluation of Bledug Kuwu’s clay as one of the adsorbents for synthetic dyes has been carried out. The preparation of the adsorbent started with washing the clay with distilled water, followed by activation with a solution of hydrochloric acid (1 M) under mechanistic stirring for overnight. The C−H and O−H groups found on the clay adsorbent could attract methylene blue by dispersion forces and hydrogen bonding. Hydrocloric acid activation process for clay can increase surface area from 49 to 70 m2.g−1, meanwhile, reducing the average crystal size from 48.3 to 43.4 nm. The dye removal capacity increased from 34 to 40 mg.g−1 in corresponding to the increase of the temperature from 30 to 50 °C. The results showed that the equilibrium adsorption capacity of activated Bledug Kuwu’s clay reached 99% in an adsorption time of 20 min. The kinetic models of methylene blue adsorption onto BKC and ABKC adsorbents follow the pseudo-second order and the adsorption process is spontaneous with free energy (ΔG) as −23.519 kJ.mol−1.
