Mobile technology (MT) is a mobile device that has become a fixture of gadget enthusiasts, and its use has proliferated around the world in recent years. The situation is becoming more and more popular in the field of education. As a teacher, they are also directly involved in the benefits of MT. Most teachers use MT for personal purposes such as accessing email, communicating through social media and browsing web pages. However, it is difficult to determine the driving force behind the use of MT to improve teaching. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify factors influencing teachers' behavioral intention to use MT (TBIMT) based on the UTAUT2 Model. A total of 422 secondary school teachers in the state of Kedah, Malaysia, were selected as respondents of the study. The findings show that only three components of UTAUT2 influence TBIMT in teaching, namely EE, HM and HT. In conclusion, teachers can manipulate the advantages of MT to create more effective teaching strategies.

The objectives of the research are (1) to develop mathematics learning through Problem Based Learning (PBL) with social media assistance in improving students’ understanding toward statistics and (2) to find out the effectiveness of PBL with social media assistance. This research is a quasi-research with cluster random sampling. The cluster random sampling was employed to determine a control class and an experimental class. After treatment for each class, post-test was done. Then, the post-test data was analyzed through a T-test. The result is the mean score of post-test in experimental class was better than that in control class. It means PBL with social media assistance is more effective than the conventional model to teach statistics. The result was supported by a questionnaire that showed learning mathematics through PBL with social media assistance got a positive response from the students.

This article aims to design and develop a Problem Based Learning (PBL) Mobile Application for teaching and learning in Islamic Education at the Polytechnic Brunei Darussalam. The development methodology-based application that divides the ADDIE model of instructional development activities into five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Each phase is explained in detail to bring out what action is taken on each phase. ADDIE model has listed guidelines that should be implemented detailed and systematically which involves analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The priority aspects such as the content, learning theory and learning strategies are taken into account in analysing and designing. The researchers applied the behaviorism and constructivist theory as the learning theory. While PBL strategies are embedded in the application throughout the designing and development phase. Development process of an effective mobile application is not easy or takes shorter time but, it requires detailed and systematic planning. A model conceptual framework is constructed to help researchers to make the action more regular. At the end of the study, the authors present each element of the conceptual framework for the design and development a mobile application in teaching and learning in Islamic Education.
