This study aims to determine the influence of decision making of farmers choosing rice varieties on rice productivity levels. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative analysis. This research was conducted in Bangun Rejo Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency. The number of respondents in this study was 73 samples. The data used is primary and secondary data. The data analysis in this study was conducted with multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that the decision-making process of choosing rice varieties by farmers is done by considering several things, namely the suitability of varieties to the needs of farmers, the suitability of varieties with the experience of farmers, the level of complexity in the application of varieties, as well as the relative advantages of varieties. The decision-making of farmers choosing rice varieties positively affects 90.4 percent of rice productivity. The more appropriate farmers choose rice varieties that suit the needs, conditions of the land, type and intensity of pest attacks in the area, it will support the acquisition of high productivity.

This study aims to determine farmers' perceptions of climate change on pepper productivity in East Lampung Regency and Sukadana Baru Village, Marga Tiga District, East Lampung Regency, from March to April 2020. The research method used is survey method. The research population is 433 pepper farmers. in Sukadana Baru Village. The number of samples in this study were 108 people. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results show that climate change causes changes in temperature, changes in rainfall, changes in production so that it has an impact on changes in pepper productivity. Changes in temperature that occur in the study area are indicated by the percentage of respondents of 51.85%. Meanwhile, 30.56% of respondents stated that there was no change in temperature in the study area. Rainfall experienced a change with the percentage of respondents amounting to 75.00%, while the rest considered it unchanged with a percentage of 7.41% and 17.59% stating they did not know. Most of the farmers stated that their production had decreased by 75.93%. farmers answered they don't know with a percentage of 63.89%, this situation occurs because most farmers rarely calculate the amount of productivity. Only 20.37% of respondents answered that there was a change in productivity due to climate change.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fator-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi petani mengikuti program AUTP dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh petani selama menjadi peserta AUTP. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Gunung Sugih, Pubian dan Trimurjo Kabupaten Lampung Tengah pada bulan Desember 2019. Penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Responden penelitian adalah petani yang mengikuti program AUTP yang berjumlah 88 petani. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi internal petani masuk kategori tinggi dengan 45,45 %, yaitu dorongan petani untuk ikut serta pada program AUTP karena keinginan sendiri dengan pertimbangan adanya jaminan atas risiko kerusakan yang dialami. Adapun faktor-faktor yang secara langsung mempengaruhi motivasi petani mengikuti program AUTP yaitu tingkat pengetahuan informasi AUTP dan intensitas pendampingan. Sementara variabel tingkat pengetahuan pengetahuan informasi AUTP secara tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap keikutsertaan petani melalui tingkat motivasi petani mengikuti program AUTP. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh peserta AUTP meliputi lamanya proses pengajuan klaim dan pencairan dana klaim (pertanggungan). Kata kunci: analisis jalur, AUTP, motivasi, petani
