In modern society, security issues, including the psychological one during adolescence, are of particular relevance. The article examines the essence of the concept of «psychological security», as well as its criteria. It substantiates the possibility of creating the conditions for a psychologically safe environment by developing adolescents social activity through volunteer activities. It states the indicators of social activity, substantiates scientifically the development of schoolchildren social activity in an educational organization through the creation of such psychological and pedagogical conditions in which a teenager is involved in volunteering activities and feels confident and psychologically safe. The results obtained in the study determine the strategy of purposeful psychological and pedagogical work in preserving psychological safety in an educational organization environment.
