Abstract: PAPERS & ARTICLES the use of tetracyclines (Walton and others 1983) and the availability ofpotentiated amoxycillin as a liquid preparation may make it preferable for the treatment of chlamydiosis in young kittens. Chlamydiosis in cats can be treated successfully by administering potentiated amoxycillin for 19 days, followed by a second treatment for 30 days should the disease recur, using the lower end of the range of dose rates recommended.
