“…In the present review, the concept implemented was a systematic review approach (Alalwan et al , 2016; Tarhini et al , 2015a; Tarhini et al , 2015b; Masa'deh et al , 2015; Obeidat et al , 2016). This method investigates the concept perspective in the literature presented by all authors instead of the author-driven approach, which focuses on how the individual authors analyse the presented concepts in different articles (Dal Mas et al , 2019; Rothman et al , 2019; Walsh et al , 2020; Webster and Watson, 2002). This technique was found to be suitable in the present study to review the literature that has been conducted in the business context during the Covid-19 crisis.…”

“…Case studies are easier to understand, even by people who belong to the professional world. In contrast, managerial implications are difficult to make effective if the professionals involved cannot completely understand the research methods (Rothman et al , 2019). Therefore, scholars should develop more performative studies that allow organisations to put the suggestions into practice.…”

“…An evaluation to see the relationship between the empowerment process and the outcome also needs to be done (Rothman et al, 2019). The purpose of the evaluation design is not to detect the impact of the program on changes in adolescent smoking behavior, because it is a longer outcome compared to the length of time this study was collected (Holden et al, 2004;Rothman et al, 2019).…”

“…Nevertheless, rules remain necessary, as can be seen, for example, from the empowerment of employees. Empowerment is characterized by the fact that employees can make decisions in a previously defined framework without consulting their line managers and thereby gain control and efficacy (Rothman et al , 2019), to meet the requirements placed on them (Schultz, 2014). However, boundaries for action must also be defined (Schultz, 2014), to clarify the limits of actionable options.…”
