Abstract:The implementation of problem-based learning method in education within various disciplines of knowledge cannot be denied. The method is able to improve the traditional learning paradigm accommodating to the 21st century learning. The main aim of this review is to investigate the findings of studies related to the disciplines involving Problem Based Learning and its effects on education. The study uses a systematic approach analysis and synthesizes 43 articles from the year 2015 until 2018 including peer revie… Show more
“…Mobile learning is a learning media used on mobile devices or smartphones. Learning media in the form of mobile learning is a media that presents various features such as animation and games (Alnabhan & Aljaraideh, 2014;Ramud et al, 2018;Zakaria et al, 2019). Mobile learning media allows students to learn independently and under teacher guidance and can increase student motivation to learn.…”
This study aims to provide an understanding of character education based on multicultural values in elementary school students. The method used is quasi-experimental to see the changes that occur after using mobile learning in class VI SDN Kadipaten 1 Majalengka. The population and sample of the study were the sixth-grade students of SDN Kadipaten Majalengka in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection technique used a test that was used to determine the student's tolerance attitude. Based on the data processing and analysis results, it can be concluded that the attitude of tolerance needs to be given a good understanding at the level of elementary school students. It is because elementary school students are at a stage where imitation is very high. The "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application can be a facility in providing an understanding of tolerance. It is shown that the results of the study indicate that there are differences in tolerance attitudes before and after using the "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application.

“…This study aims to develop a learning strategy by applying technology in the form of mobile learning media (MLM) as a learning medium to solve problems in the CNC learning process. The use of technology can be chosen as an alternative strategy for educators in the learning process [16]. Technology can be used as a learning instruction tool so that it can help improve students' learning achievement of CNC programming [5].…”
This study aims to develop Mobile Learning Media (MLM) technology-based learning in learning programming of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) in vocational high schools. This development is important to improve student competence to be ready for work. Product development design uses the ADDIE technique which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The application of product development was carried out by using an experimental trial method with a random control group pretest-postest design. The number of research respondents are 120 students with 60 students in the experimental class and 60 students in the control class. Research data includes data on students' learning outcomes and interview data with students after the application of the use of mobile learning which has been developed. Analysis of research data used descriptive statistical techniques and independent sample T-test by using SPSS 2.0 software. The results showed that the use of MLM can facilitate students to learn anywhere and anytime. MLM in CNC learning can provide real learning on how the CNC program is run, so that it can increase students' motivation and learning achievement. MLM supports students' independent learning and makes students become more confident in mastering their competencies, so that teachers can do a variety of jobs easily.
“…Furthermore, to ensure the quality of this SLR, the selection of journal articles for further analysis must be based on the framework's criteria. As part of the systematic review process, inclusion and exclusion criteria were determined to identify which articles to include or exclude from the study [47]. All selected articles were extracted by the first researcher using the extraction form that had been made.…”
Until now, learning is still focused on thecognitive realm only. One aspect that is often neglected issocial attitudes, which are part of the affective aspect thathas an essential role in social life. The limited number ofresearchers who touch on this area makes referencesources of social attitudes still limited. This study is aSystematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMAmodel. This model is considered a reasonablycomprehensive model because it has four main stages:identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion.Researchers collected data from various open access datasources such as Google Scholar, Web of Science (WoS),Scopus, ERIC, Researchgate.net, Academia.com, andSciencedirect.com. Furthermore, the data were analyzedusing content analysis techniques in obtaining anoverview of trends and implications of research oneducation and learning social attitudes over the past tenyears. The results showed that there were only 14 articlesthat met the criteria for further analysis. The fourteenarticles discuss several main research topics, such as (1)improving students' social attitudes through learningmodels/approaches/methods, (2) learning social attitudesin the context of inclusive education, (3) developing andvalidating social attitude instruments, and so on other. These findings indicate the need for further and morecomprehensive research on learning social attitudes sothat this aspect is increasingly understood by variouselements of education as an aspect that is as important asthe cognitive aspect.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
