A Study on the Association of Fungi in Human Corneal Ulcers and their Therapy*

Abstract: Summary: In a study of 210 patients with corneal ulcer, 105 were clinically diagnosed as mycotic keratitis. 25 of these were positive for fungi in culture. Only 6 of the remaining, 105 cases of keratitis, were of fungal origin. Species of Aspergillus were dominant (11) followed by those of Fusarium and Candida (5 each).
