Social networks are the platform for the users to get connected with other social network users based on their interest and life styles. Existing social networks have millions of users and the data generated by them are huge and it is difficult to differentiate the real users and the fake users. Hence a trust worthy system is recommended for differentiating the real and fake users. Social networking enables users to send friend requests, upload photos and tag their friends and even suggest them the web links based on the interest of the users. The friends recommended, the photos tagged and web links suggested may be a malware or an untrusted activity. Users on social networks are authorised by providing the personal data. This personal raw data is available to all other users online and there is no protection or methods to secure this data from unknown users. Hence to provide a trustworthy system and to enable real users activities a review on different methods to achieve trustworthy social networking systems are examined in this paper.

Recently, Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN) has been emerging as a cost-effective solution supporting huge volumes of mobile traffic in the big data era. C-RAN provides infrastructure layer services to mobile users by managing virtualized infrastructure resources. To exploit next-generation C-RAN operations, a main challenging issue is how to properly control system resources. In this study, we propose a novel resource management scheme for C-RAN systems. By employing the news-vendor game model, we investigate a resource allocation problem with bargaining solutions. In dynamic C-RAN environments, our game-based resource management approach can practically adapt current system conditions while maximizing the expected payoff. The main contribution of our study lies in the fact that we shed a new light on adaptive resource allocation policies for virtualized cloud environments. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed scheme can obtain a considerably better system performance than other existing schemes.

The overarching vision of social machines is to facilitate social processes by having computers provide administrative support. We conceive of a social machine as a sociotechnical system (STS): a software-supported system in which autonomous principals such as humans and organizations interact to exchange information and services. Existing approaches for social machines emphasize the technical aspects and inadequately support the meanings of social processes, leaving them informally realized in human interactions. We posit that a fundamental rethinking is needed to incorporate accountability, essential for addressing the openness of the Web and the autonomy of its principals.We introduce Interaction-Oriented Software Engineering (IOSE) as a paradigm expressly suited to capturing the social basis of STSs. Motivated by promoting openness and autonomy, IOSE focuses not on implementation but on social protocols, specifying how social relationships, characterizing the accountability of the concerned parties, progress as they interact. Motivated by providing computational support, IOSE adopts the accountability representation to capture the meaning of a social machine's states and transitions.We demonstrate IOSE via examples drawn from healthcare. We reinterpret the classical software engineering (SE) principles for the STS setting and show how IOSE is better suited than traditional software engineering for supporting social processes. The contribution of this paper is a new paradigm for STSs, evaluated via conceptual analysis.
