A Scientometrics Analysis and Visualization of Depressive Disorder

Abstract: : Multiple studies on the pathomechanisms of depressive disorder and antidepressants have been reported. However, literature involving scientometric analysis of depressive disorder is sparse. Here, we use scientometric analysis and a historical review to highlight recent research on depression. We use the former to examine research on depressive disorders from 1998 to 2018. The latter is used to identify the most frequent keywords in keyword analysis, as well as explore hotspots and depression trends. Scientom… Show more

“…CUMS was applied to construct a mouse model of depression and mice were first separated into following groups: CUMS group, CUMS + n‐3 PUFAs group, CUMS + normal saline (NS) group and control group. Following stressors were used to induce mice in CUMS group 1 : water deprivation (24 h), 2 fasting (24 h), 3 overnight illumination, 4 cage tilting (45°), 5 wet sawdust (100 g sawdust padding with 200 ml water), 6 contact with foreign matter, 7 reversal of light and dark cycles, 8 overhang (10 min), 9 exposure to an empty bottle, 10 tail pinch (1 min, 1 cm from the root of the tail), 11 shaking (5 min), and 12 white noise. Steps mentioned above were randomly arranged to guarantee the unpredictability of the test and lasted for 5 weeks.…”

“…11 There is a wide application of bibliometric analysis today in a number of fields, including depressive disorder, pyroptosis, and electrochemiluminescence sensing technology. [12][13][14] There are, however, no summaries and evaluations of literature characteristics, research directions, research depth, and hotspots on the relationship between COPD and lung carcinomas. In order to provide a reference for future research, it is necessary to determine the current status of the relationship between COPD and lung carcinomas as a whole.…”
