“…Surprising results that was no difference between inhibition zones of methicillin-resistant and methicillin-susceptible strain may be due to the some component of essential oil caused bacterial cell damaged this result is in agreement with [44][45][46]. They found that essential oil caused gross membrane damaged and provoke whole cell lysis of eukaryotic.…”

“…The mecA and Bel gene coding for methicillin resistance via penicillin binding protein 2a (PBP2a) are well established and is considered as "gold standard" for detection of methicillin resistance in comparison with phenotypic methods [46,47]. Our results revealed that the inhibitory effect of essential oils on Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSA) and Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli bacteria may be due to reduction or modified of β-lactamse (methicillin) resistance but the actual mechanism is unknown.…”

“…Oral administration of the aqueous extract of the trunk barks of S. campanulata P. Beauv at doses of 200, 400 and 800 mg/kg body weight over a period of 8 days influenced the copulatory activity of normal and sexually experienced male Wistar albino rats. Compared with the animals in the negative control groups, the effects of the extract on the sexual behavior of the treated rats were materialized by stimulation of sexual motivation, effect confirmed by the increase in the frequencies of erections and mounts as well as the decrease in the latency of mount; stimulation of sexual performance, effect confirmed by the increase in the frequency of intromissions as well as the decrease of the latency of intromission; stimulation of sexual pleasure by an increase in the frequency of ejaculation and the latency of ejaculation, effect confirmed by the increase of the frequency of ejaculations and the increase of the latency of ejaculation (Singh et al, 2013b). It can be concluded that the aqueous extract of the trunk barks of S. campanulata P. Beauv have a pro-ejaculatory aphrodisiac effect.…”

“…The extracts of the Adiantum leaves have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-microbial activities 7. The hydro-alcoholic extract of leaves has strong anti-urolithic properties and isolated vascular endothelial growth factor and transforming growth factor beta-1 proteins in normal and streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats, during treatment of formulations of Aloe Vera, Henna, Adiantum capillus-veneris, and Myrrha usually claimed 2,10 have been reported very good antidiabetic as well as low side effect at the different dose of aqueous extracts and methanolic extract, Hair growth-promoting activity was reported by 11 on albino mice using a testosterone-induced alopecia model and methanolic extract of whole plant showed the antibacterial activity 11 .…”
