Abstract: O objeto deste estudo é a feição assumida pela prática da enfermagem no Brasil, em meados do século 20. Objetivos: analisar as práticas de enfermagem, decorrentes dos novos modelos de prestação de serviços públicos de saúde e discutir suas implicações para a profissão.
