“…Several studies have shown that NSAIDs and opioids provide at least equivalent levels of postoperative analgesia, with higher rates of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness in patients treated with opioids 3640. Similar results have been found in patients with acute biliary colic and isolated limb injuries and after lithotripsy 41 – 44. Our findings that NSAIDs provided slightly better analgesia with fewer side effects than opioids are in keeping with these studies, although the finding of improved analgesia in patients with renal colic may relate to the local synthesis and release of prostaglandins specific to this condition.…”

“…14 Nuclear magnetic resonance spectra ( 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR) were recorded on a Varian 300 spectrometer, using TMS as the internal standard; chemical shifts were reported in parts per million (d) and 1 H-NMR signals were quoted as s (singlet), d (doublet), t (triplet), and m (multiplet). IR spectra were recorded on a PerkinElmer 783 spectrometer and a Nicolet instrument.…”

“…1,2 Although oral bioavailability of ketorolac was reported to be 90% with a very low hepatic first-pass elimination, the biologic half-life of 4-6 h calls for frequent administration to maintain the therapeutic effect. 3 Long-term use of ketorolac may result in gastrointestinal ulceration and acute renal failure.…”

“…Dula и соавт. [9] оценивалась эф-фективность кеторолака в суточной дозе 60 мг у 30 больных с острой желчной коликой. Препарат не уступал по обезболи-вающему действию опиодному анальгетику меперидину, ко-торый применялся в дозе 100 мг/сут.…”
