A Política Pública De Cotas Em Universidades, Desempenho Acadêmico E Inclusão Social

Abstract: O artigo analisa o sistema de cotas, bem como os efeitos dela decorrentes na Universidade do Estado doRio de Janeiro, olhando-o como política pública de ação afirmativa conducente à inclusão social. Oconceito de inclusão está baseado em dois aportes: o desempenho acadêmico (conceitos/notas/evasão),obtido, e a aceitação, entendida como o acolhimento que os colegas dispensam entre si.
