“…Based on the above analysis, the structure of compound 4 was determined and named nagarutine D (Figure 1). Eleven known compounds were identified as hypaconitine ( 5), [23] neoline (6), [24] franchetine (7), [25] bullatine F (8), [26] 8-acetylneoline (9), [27] ducloudine B (10), [28] spicatine B (11), [29] yunaconitine (12), [30] 16βacetoxy-cardiopetaline (13), [11] benzoyldeoxyaconine ( 14), [31] forestine (15), [32] (Figure 1) by comparison of their spectral data with those described in the literature. Moreover, compounds (7 -15) were isolated from A. nagarum Stapf.…”

“…The EtOAc extract (62 g) was subjected to chromatography over silica gel (1.0 kg, 200-300 mesh), eluting with petroleum ether-EtOAc-Et 3 N (60:1:0.1 ! 0:1:0.1) to afford six fractions (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6). Fraction 4 was purified by silica gel column chromatography eluted with petroleum ether-EtOAc-Et 3 N (3:1:0.1 !…”

“…ex Ledeb has long been used in Tibetan folk medicine for the treatment of arthralgia, dysmenorrhea, and colic [3]. As a continuation of our studies on medicinal plants of Aconitum species growing on the Yunnan -Tibet Plateau [4][5][6][7], A. macrorhynchum was examined. Our previous work [8] on this species has resulted in the isolation of two new norditerpenoid alkaloids, macrorhynines A and B, and seven norditerpenoid alkaloids from A. macrorhynchum.…”
