“…It was known that a mutation in the cytochrome P450 gene was the cause of abnormal stipe elongation of C. cinereus (Muraguchi and Kamada, 2000) and in A. bisporus, the cypA gene encoding cytochrome P450 was specifically expressed in the fruit body (De Groot et al, 1997). However, Northern blot analysis in C. cinereus and our EST analysis results showed that the gene product occurred in both mycelia and fruit body cDNA library, although the sequence occurred only one time in mycelial ESTs and four times in the fruiting body.…”
