Abstract: RESUMOTema: O presente trabalho busca discutir as altas habilidades/superdotação, através de uma leitura psicanalítica, propondo estudar a superdotação como se constituindo em uma forma peculiar de responder ao fantasma parental, sobretudo, com o que se relaciona ao desejo materno, colocando-se como algo que está além da estrutura, presente tanto na neurose, quanto na perversão e psicose.
