A fuzzy-rule-based packet reproduction routing for sensor networks

Abstract: It is a major challenge to transfer target sensing data efficiently to sink in Internet of things. The low-efficiency data transmission can cause low quality of service. To realize the emergent detection and periodic data gathering, the sensed data should be transferred to the sink efficiently and quickly. Recently, there are many related studies. However, there are few researches taking energy efficiency, transport delay, and network reliability into comprehensive consideration. In this article, a novel adapt… Show more

“…In Zhang et al (2018) , adaptive green and reliable routing scheme based on FL is provided and that considers end-to-end transport delay, energy efficiency and transmission reliability. A fuzzy clustering scheme was presented by Hai, Son & Vinh (2017) to obtain the clustering results with the help of a mathematical model that considers 3D energy functions which are suitable for use in 3D WSNs.…”

“…However, the proliferation routing scheme does not implement any mechanism of energy savings and traffic adaptability. Instead, Zhang et al 1 propose a new adaptive green and reliable routing scheme based on fuzzy logic. The essential idea of the scheme introduced by the authors is to vary the number of renewed packet copies according to a fuzzy inference system taking as inputs the residual energy and the distance to the sink.…”
