A expressão da 2ª pessoa do singular em contextos de complementação e de adjunção: retratos do encaixamento estrutural e social

Abstract

Analisamos, neste trabalho, a emergência da forma você no paradigma pronominal do português brasileiro (PB), focalizando especificamente os contextos de complementação e adjunção verbal e não-verbal. Para tanto, utilizamos uma amostra de cartas pessoais produzidas por um casal de noivos entre os anos de 1936 e 1937. Na análise, resgatamos o problema do encaixamento estrutural e social proposto por Weinreich, Labov e Herzog (1968), além dos princípios gerais da sociolinguística histórica (Conde Silvestre, 2007; Hernández-Campoy e Conde Silvestre, 2012). Os resultados indicaram que as relações sintáticas oblíquas de complementação e dativas projetadas por predicadores verbais foram as que mais favoreceram o emprego das formas você não-sujeito. Quanto aos fatores sociais, a informante feminina, com menor domínio de escrita, foi a que mais utilizou a forma inovadora em suas cartas.
