“…Since grade 3 anaesthesia (classification of Dundee and Riding, 1960) indicates that the administration was either totally unsatisfactory from the surgeon's point of view or dangerous to the patient, it can be seen that the methylated thiobarbiturates are unsatisfactory for clinical use.
