A combination of EFG-SBM and a temporally-piecewise adaptive algorithm to solve viscoelastic problems

Abstract: This paper combines Element-Free Galerkin Scaled Boundary Method (EFG-SBM) with a temporally-piecewise adaptive algorithm to solve viscoelastic problems. By expanding variables at a discretized time interval, the variations of variables can be described more precisely, and a space-time domain coupled problem can be converted into a series of recurrent boundary value problems which are solved by EFG-SBM via an adaptive computing process. Numerical tests including creep and relaxation are given to verify the pro… Show more

“…Ren et al [39] measured the green innovation efficiency of Chinese industrial enterprises based on an SBM model. Guo et al [40] used the three-stage DEA model to measure the green innovation efficiency of different provinces in China. Liu et al [41] used a RAM model to comprehensively consider environmental efficiency, production efficiency, and comprehensive efficiency to measure the sustainability level of the coal industry.…”

“…The connotation of performance is mainly embodied in the three aspects of effect, efficiency, and benefit. The effect is the degree to which the goal is achieved, which is the appearance of the performance; the efficiency is the relationship between input and output; and the benefit refers to the economic, social, and environmental benefits that the final result brings to the organization or individual [27][28][29][30][31][32][33]. However, scholars have not yet reached a consensus regarding the definition of innovation performance, which can be summarized from the following four aspects [62][63][64][65][66][67][68].…”

“…Ren and Wang (2016) used slack measure model (SBM) model to measure the green innovation efficiency of Chinese industrial enterprises [ 31 ]. Guo and Yang (2016) used the Super-Efficiency-SBM model and the three-stage DEA method to calculate the green innovation efficiency of different provinces in China [ 32 ]. Liu et al (2016) used the range-adjusted measure (RAM)-DEA model to determine environmental efficiency in the coal industry [ 33 ].…”
