Abstract:Purpose
The research mainly aims at the hotspot of inventory management by knowledge mapping and provides a visualization reference in this research field.
Design/methodology/approach
First, inventory management journals during 1986 to 2017 were selected as the research object and text formatting in the Web of Science (WOS) database is exported. Then inventory management knowledge mapping is done and clustering keywords are extracted by using CiteSpace and VOSviewer software. Based on co-word analysis, the t… Show more
“…Aria and Cuccurullo (2017). VosViewer software has also gained popularity among researchers in the field of library and information management because of its comprehensive mapping characteristics (Ahmed and Ameen, 2017;Çakmak, 2019;Galyani-Moghaddam et al, 2017;Jiang and Yanbin, 2018;Liu et al, 2020;Ye and Ge, 2019). The instructions of its original authors van Eck and Waltman (2020) were followed for the analysis.…”
PurposeThe purpose of this study was to map the quantity (frequency), quality (impact) and structural indicators (correlations) of research produced on cloud computing in 48 countries and 3 territories in the Asia continent.Design/methodology/approachTo achieve the objectives of the study and scientifically map the indicators, data were extracted from the Scopus database. The extracted bibliographic data was first cleaned properly using Endnote and then analyzed using Biblioshiny and VosViewer application software. In the software, calculations include citations count; h, g and m indexes; Bradford's and Lotka's laws; and other scientific mappings.FindingsResults of the study indicate that China remained the most productive, impactful and collaborative country in Asia. All the top 20 impactful authors were also from China. The other most researched areas associated with cloud computing were revealed to be mobile cloud computing and data security in clouds. The most prominent journal currently publishing research studies on cloud computing was “Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing.”Originality/valueThe study is the first of its kind which identified the quantity (frequencies), quality (impact) and structural indicators (correlations) of Asian (48 countries and 3 territories) research productivity on cloud computing. The results are of great importance for researchers and countries interested in further exploring, publishing and increasing cross country collaborations related to the phenomenon of cloud computing.

“…Citation indexing was initially defined by Eugene Garfield as a means for retrieving information (Chen, 2018 ). Through citation analysis, it is possible to assess the evolution of emerging research topics and the intellectual basis of an area (Ye & Ge, 2019 ) and/or author.…”
The use of bibliometrics, based on statistical and mathematical tools, makes it possible to measure the contributions of researchers to science. This is a widely used tool to assess scientific production in several areas of knowledge. Such methodology analyzes publication trends, author networks, structures of co-citation, journals and even the scientific contribution of renowned scholars in science. The precursor of bibliometrics, Eugene Garfield, who proposes the retrieval of information from the indexing of citations, was the object of a scientometric review aimed at assessing his impact on science. Given such relevance, this article presents the academic contribution of Jürgen Habermas based on a preliminary scientometric review of his studies. Jürgen Habermas is regarded not only as an active scholar in the social and political process, but also as a productive, controversial and influential contemporary author. The correct understanding of his works is a great challenge, as the bases of his thinking are so broad that they allow an interface between different approaches. We elaborated a design of his scientific work with the advancement to a connection between his main ideas through the use of bibliometric software. Bibliometrics, of the scientometric type, allows the understanding of how recognized patterns in citations can develop information relevant to the scientific field. The results confirm the multidisciplinary contribution of Habermas’s studies and highlight his main fields of research and works, which serve as a foundation for clearly understanding and applying his concepts.
“…Zhu, B. et al proposed that a B/S-based library management system aims to provide readers with highquality information services and provide readers with a platform for online inquiry of book information, book recommendations and other personalized services based on their personal reading interests, better serve readers, and gradually realize the B / s book borrowing mode [8]. Ye, Y. et al proposed that data mining refers to the process of finding potential relationships between data in the database and obtaining previously undiscovered application value through analysis [9]. In order to improve information retrieval and resource sharing capabilities of the libraries, Li, S. and others established an intelligent library information management system, and realized the library's intelligent information management under the multi-source information resource service mode to better serve readers and improve the utilization efficiency and sharing level of library collections [10].…”
In order to improve the library's information retrieval and resource sharing capabilities and establish an intelligent library information management system, this paper proposes a library information management system development technology based on data mining technology. The system development is divided into two modules: library information retrieval and data mining algorithm design and software development of information management system. Using big data fusion and feature clustering methods to design intelligent information retrieval algorithm in library information management, establish library management database, carry out software development and design of library information management system in embedded environment, and finally carry out experimental test analysis. The test results show that using the method in this paper for library information management can improve the accuracy of book recommendation, which is 16.7% higher than the traditional method on average, and has good data mining and information retrieval capabilities. Performance indicators are better. Therefore, the algorithm is not only a means of automatic management of library systems, but also an effective means of realizing the modernization of library information.Povzetek: Sistem upravljanja knjižnice je nadgrajen z metodami strojnega rudarjenja in gručenja.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
