Retracted: 3D Porous Heterometallic Coordination Polymer for the Detection of Nitroaromatic Explosives and Inhibiting Human Cancer Cells Growth

Abstract: A new heterometallic coordination polymer, namely [Cd 2 Sr(bdc) 3 (H 2 O) 2 ] n (1) (H 2 bdc = terephthalic acid), was synthesized via the solvothermal reaction of Cd(NO 3 ) 2 , Sr(NO 3 ) 2 , and H 2 bdc. The X-ray structural analysis reveals that compound 1 is a 3D framework based on 1D rod-shaped heterometallic metal-carboxylate chains as building subunits. Viewing along the crystallographic c axis, there exist large 1D rhombic channels with effective dimensions of ca.

“…As a basic feature of nature, chirality plays an important role in life activities . Currently, the construction of chiral coordination polymers has attracted enormous interest as functional materials for potential applications in enantiomeric separation,, asymmetric catalysis,, fluorescence, nonlinear optics, and so on. In particular, luminescent chiral coordination polymers have become more focused as chemosensors for the probe of metal cations, small organic molecules and nitro explosives due to their easy operation, high selectivity and sensitivity …”

“…They are often applied to solar conversion, electroluminescence, n type semiconductor materials, gas storage, ion recognition, bioluminescent probe, etc . Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs), as a new kind of porous materials, have important applications in light‐electricity, catalysis, adsorption, and separation fields . The derivatives of NDI are lack of electrons with good capability in thermal stability and light electricity.…”
