2,4-Dimetilpirol’ün Başak Yanıklığı Hastalığı Etmeni Fusarium culmorum’un Üzerine Etkilerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract: Özet: Bitki patojeni Fusarium culmorum dünyada ve ülkemizde tahıllar üzerinde kök çürüklüğü ve başak yanıklığı başta olmak üzere çeşitli hastalıklara neden olmaktadır. Show more

“…These genes or homologues have been used in different studies related to the apoptosis mechanism, downregulation of mycotoxin synthesis and the novel antifungal resistance etc. (Ponts et al, 2007;Sharon et al, 2009;Shlezinger, Goldfinger and Sharon, 2012;Sefer et al, 2017;Yörük et al, 2018b). However, in this study, it was claimed that the alterations in Hog1, Mgv1, POD and tri5 genes could be used as markers in revealing the detailed antifungal effects of any specific chemical compound.…”

“…It can be easily said that this level of fungicide could provide a powerful strategy to overcome the F. graminearum infections in the fields. Especially, if and when the MIC value is compared to the potential antifungal agents, the MIC values which could reach up to 1 mg/mL (Sefer et al, 2017;Yörük et al, 2018a), TCZ could be considered as a strong antimicrobial agent.…”

“…So far, the antifungal potential of some chemical compounds derived from plant or bacteria have been investigated in Fusarium species. However, comprehensive data were not obtained from those studies based on the investigation of the macroconidium reproduction capacity, radial growth rate, and inhibition of mycotoxin biosynthesis alterations [17,18,25,26]. Gene alterations, which are related to important processes in the fungal life cycle, the detection of apoptosis-like processes, and the determination of the presence of oxidative stress, have not been investigated in F. graminearum and F. culmorum .…”

“…In this study, the MIC values for these two species were found at moderate levels as compared with some other plant essential oils such as eugenol, vanillin, dimethyl pyrrole, etc. In addition, a relatively higher level of mycotoxin inhibition was also detected via qPCR [17,18,26,27,28,29,30]. IC 50 values of 1 µg/µL were used in further studies.…”
