Objective: to describe the health behaviors related to the sexual experiences of women in the female prison system from January to March, 2017. Method: descriptive study with a qualitative approach. A semi-structured questionnaire containing mixed questions and patient records was used. The data analysis was performed through the Bardin's content analysis and adopted as reference the Theory of Basic Human Needs. Results: 18 women, young, single, brown, with a complete fundamental level participated in the study. After this characterization, two categories were evidenced: Health behaviors in sexual experiences and Health care in the face of sexual experiences. 33.3% reported on health behaviors such as Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), 27.7% associated with male condom use, 16.6% on prevention of unwanted pregnancies, 11.1% on health care and hygiene. Final considerations: it was evidenced that the health behaviors reported by women in sexual experiences are associated with actions to prevent STIs, use of condoms, unwanted pregnancies, and health and hygiene care. However, it is possible to infer that they understand and possess superficial knowledge about health behaviors and that there is no adoption of regular practice in their sexual experiences. RESUMOObjetivo: descrever os comportamentos de saúde relacionados às experiências sexuais de mulheres do sistema prisional feminino no período de janeiro a março de 2017. Método: estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa. Utilizou-se um questionário semiestruturado contendo perguntas mistas e consulta aos prontuários. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio da análise de conteúdo de Bardin e adotou-se como referencial a Teoria das Necessidades Humanas Básicas. Resultados: participaram do estudo 18 mulheres, jovens, solteiras, pardas, com nível fundamental completo. Após esta caracterização, foram evidenciadas duas categorias: Comportamentos de saúde nas vivências sexuais e Assistência à saúde frente às vivências sexuais, onde 33,3% descreveram comportamentos de saúde como ações de prevenção a Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis (ISTs), 27,7% associam ao uso de preservativo masculino, 16,6% à prevenção de gravidez indesejada, 11,1% aos cuidados de saúde e higiene. Considerações finais: evidenciou-se que os comportamentos de saúde relatados pelas mulheres nas experiências sexuais estão associados a ações de prevenção a IST's, uso da camisinha, gravidez indesejada e cuidados com a saúde e higiene. Entretanto, é possível inferir que as mesmas compreendem e possuem conhecimento superficial acerca dos comportamentos de saúde e que não há adoção da prática regular nas suas experiências sexuais. Objectives: to describe the health control habits that influence the daily life of celiac patients and to analyze the practice of actions related to health control and its determinants, from the perspective of the first component of the Pender Health Promotion Model. Method: a cross-sectional study conducted through interviews with instrument with 83 individuals from Ceará and diagnosed with celiac disease. Data was analyzed using the characteristics and individual experiences component of Pender's theoretical model. Results: of the celiac patients, 96.4% did not follow the gluten-free diet; 80.7% had inappropriate behaviors to reduce risk factors; 72.3% made ineffective choices in daily life to achieve health goals and; and 25.3% could not keep the gluten free diet in their daily life. Conclusion: according to the theoretical model, celiac patients did not adhere to the proper diet and presented factors inherent to daily life and social issues, characterized as barriers to an effective health control.

[10][11][12][13] Anchored in the premises of health promotion 14 , professionals from the Family Health Strategy (FHS), from the Basic Health Unit -BHU Paraisópolis II, managed in partnership by the Albert Einstein Hospital, located in the south of the city of São Paulo, developed a project to organize and strengthen basic care, according to principles and guidelines of the UHS: a socio--educational, multiprofessional group, focused on human health, called "Pub Talk". Since 2013, meetings of this group have been held in pubs in the Paraisópolis community, with the presence of 15 local men, on average, and with the participation of a health team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, community health agents (CHA), as well as professionals from the Family Health Support Center (FHSC), who support the actions of this Group.…”

Pub Talk: participation, education and men’s health promotion

Objective: To evaluate the execution process of dialogical actions of a socio-educational group called “Pub Talk”, created by professionals of the Paraisópolis II Basic Health Unit, recognizing challenges related to men’s health. Method: Comprehensive evaluative research, which parameters were conceptual aspects of the Nola Pender’s model. Interviews were conducted with the professionals and the focus group with men participating in the Group, analyzing three components of this model: individual experiences and characteristics; feelings and knowledge about the behavior one wants to achieve; desirable health promotion behavior. Results: The group is a self-care guiding intervention; values scientific and popular knowledge, with protagonism of those involved; covers the prevention of disease and changes of habits; has different perceptions regarding the structural and technical aspects of the meetings. Conclusion: Dialogic actions contributed to the promotion of the health of the participants by favoring the (re)cognition of determinants of their health and living conditions.
