Objective: to describe the violations of the fundamental rights of children and adolescents through violence. Methods: cross-sectional study of notifications of violations collected from the Information System on Protection to Children and Adolescents. Descriptive and analytical analyses were carried out by means of Chisquare tests for associations. Results: among the notifications, 61.2% were related to family and community living; 18.3% to education, culture, sport and leisure; 11.5% to freedom, respect and dignity; 8.5% to life and health; and 0.5% to professionalization and protection at work. There were 541 notifications making reference to violence, which included: 47.5% of sexual nature; white girls, 6 to 12 years old, and students, as main victims; and family members as the main perpetrators. Gender, age and schooling were associated with sexual violence. Conclusion: the fundamental rights of children and adolescents have been violated in most cases by the occurrence of violence of sexual, psychological, and physical nature, and negligence. Métodos: estudo transversal das notificações de violações coletadas do Sistema de Informação de Proteção à Infância e Adolescência. Realizada análise descritiva e analítica pelo Teste Qui-quadrado para associações. Resultados: entre as notificações, 61,2% referiram-se à convivência familiar e comunitária; 18,3% à educação, cultura, esporte e lazer; 11,5% à liberdade, respeito e dignidade; 8,5% à vida e saúde; e 0,5% à profissionalização e proteção no trabalho. Registraram-se 541 notificações referentes à violência, as quais foram analisadas: 47,5% do tipo sexual; meninas brancas, 6 a 12 anos, estudantes, foram as principais vítimas; e pessoas da família como os principais praticantes. O sexo feminino, a faixa etária e escolaridade foram associados à violência sexual. Conclusão: os direitos fundamentais de crianças e adolescentes foram violados, na maioria das vezes, pela ocorrência de violências sexuais do tipo abuso, psicológicas, físicas; e negligência. Introdução: A violência compõe um dos principais desafios para a saúde pública e sua notificação é fundamental para a vigilância epidemiológica. No Brasil, causas externas provocam internações hospitalares e mortalidade, acarretando altos custos emocionais e sociais. O Ministério da Saúde implementou em 2011 a Ficha de Notificação Compulsória da Violência, responsabilizando todos os profissionais de saúde. Objetivo: O principal objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o perfil epidemiológico da violência na região de Barbacena (MG). Métodos: Este estudo transversal retrospectivo de caráter censitário utilizou o banco de dados do Sistema de Informações de Agravos de Notificação de 2013 a 2016. Resultados: Foram sistematizadas 7.627 notificações. O sexo feminino prevaleceu entre as vítimas (69,46%). As raças parda (40,74%) e branca (33,37%) foram as mais atingidas, o local mais frequente foi a residência da vítima. A violência física foi a mais prevalente (81,92%), a força corporal o meio mais utilizado (68,99%). O sexo masculino predominou entre os agressores (57,19%). A associação de bebidas alcoólicas foi de 25,21%. Conclusão: As características das vítimas e agressores mantêm um padrão semelhante a outros trabalhos realizados no Brasil. A elevada ocorrência de atos violentos em grupos vulneráveis indica a necessidade de melhorar os cuidados a essas pessoas, tanto nos aspectos preventivos quanto de tratamento.

Introduction: the Brazilian National Worker's Health Policy foresees the replanning of workers' health actions based on the recognition of work-related violence. Objectives: to describe the use of work-related violence records as a tool for investigation and intervention actions, through worker's health surveillance, developed by the Occupational Health Reference Center (Cerest) of São Bernardo do Campo, SP, from 2009 to 2016. Methods: descriptive report of the Cerest performance based on documentary review and secondary data of work-related violence records. Presentation and discussion of three surveillance actions focused on psychosocial aspects. Results: the work-related violence reports operated as tools that made it possible to transform data into information and critical knowledge for surveillance actions that were motivated by complaints of moral harassment referred by metallurgy injured workers, denunciations concerning workers sickening in telemarketing and disabled workers in a supermarket. Conclusion: the information gave visibility to the workers' problems and made it possible for the Brazilian National Health System (SUS), through Cerest, to plan preventive actions towards dealing with violence and psychosocial work-related factors.As autoras informam que o trabalho não foi apresentado em eventos científicos e que não foi baseado em dissertação ou tese.As autoras declaram que o estudo não foi subvencionado e que não há conflitos de interesses.
