Show more

“…[69] The crystalline phase β is usually observed 16 -16.1 for the plane (300), while the crystalline phase γ between 20.4 and 21 for the plane (111). [70] Related to neat PA6, it was verified a single peak at 20.8 due the plane (200), indicating in the crystalline phase of PA6 the phase α predominates, [71] as already verified in FTIR.…”

“…Other interpretation of the multiple melting has been given by Bezerra et al 20 . According to them the two PA6 melting temperature peaks can be assigned to the two crystal distinct forms known in the literature as α and γ.…”

“…Figure 3 shows the XRD patterns of pure PP, the PP/PHB blend and the PP/PHB/MMO/gMA/Eru nanocomposite after each reprocessing condition. The diffraction patterns of the neat PP shows the presence of monoclinic crystals characteristic of the PP alpha form, with peaks at 2θ: 13.82°, 16.66°, 18.44° and 21.70°, corresponding to planes (110), (040), ( 130) and (111), respectively [24][25][26][27] . Reprocessing did not result in nucleation of the beta and gamma phases of PP which are associated to the impact strength of this polymer.…”
