Nem tudo é o que parece: A disputa semântica sobre a tortura no sistema de justiça criminal

Abstract: O artigo analisa de que maneira a lei no 9455/97 tem sido aplicada pelo sistema de justiça criminal. A partir da seleção de pesquisas e trabalhos desenvolvidos entre 2008 a 2018, buscamos ressaltar as principais contribuições analíticas realizadas, bem como formular, a partir destes trabalhos, considerações a respeito do tratamento dado à apuração e ao processamento de crimes de tortura pelo sistema de justiça criminal.
