The aim is to identify the representations of the main actors involved in the Fernanda Keller Project on the internal and external environments of the organization. Methods: Data were collected through observation, indepth interviews, semi-structured interviews and focus groups. Results: Findings points to the great difficulty of the interaction between the Project and the city hall, from a certain moment. In the internal environment, stand out the value attributed to the Project in the social transformation of young people, community, and professionals directly or indirectly involved in the actions. Conclusion: The project has achieved success and social impact. However, the participation of the city hall of Niterói has diminished with the passage of time. Despite the difficulties encountered, the project has found new partners in the private sector. The initiative to seek other means to obtain resources was fundamental to the project's maintenance. This posture has led everyone to a positive and involving message that permeates all the reports that this study analyzed.

A sexualidade envolve aspectos biológicos e subjetivos e está presente ao longo do desenvolvimento humano. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar relatos de idosos sobre sexualidade no envelhecimento. Foram realizadas entrevistas com dez idosos da Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade de uma cidade da região do Triângulo Mineiro, cujos resultados foram organizados e analisados por meio de uma análise de conteúdo temática. As duas categorias constituídas ressaltam concepções tradicionais de gênero e sexualidade: no geral, são homens idosos autodeclarados viris, sexualmente potentes e com elevada frequência de relações sexuais, e mulheres idosas autodeclaradas sexualmente desinteressadas (após a menopausa) que se submetem aos desejos e satisfações masculinas. Em comum, ambos destacam a importância da convivência e do diálogo para a manutenção de seus relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais de longa duração. Em suma, a intersecção entre gênero e geração (envelhecimento) replica a lógica heteronormativa e a desigualdade entre homens e mulheres idosos.

Objective: Identify self-rated oral health dimensions of institutionalized elderly in Brazil using the Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI), and seek associations with objective, subjective and behavioral conditions. Methodology: Cross-sectional study based on a census of institutionalized elderly. A total of 1192 individuals, living in 36 long-stay institutions for the elderly (LSIE) were evaluated. Of these, 587 (49.2%) responded to the GOHAI. A questionnaire containing subjective and oral health behavior questions was applied and an epidemiological survey (WHO criteria) conducted.Results: With regard to the psychosocial dimension, multiple regression analysis demonstrated that the variables absence and need for upper prosthesis remained significant. Variables for the physical dimension were presence of dental problems and CPI of 6 mm or more, while in the pain or discomfort dimension, it was opinion of teeth, gums or prosthesis. Conclusions:A better understanding of GOHAI dimensions may increase knowledge of oral health conditions among institutionalized elderly in Brazil, thereby contributing to action planning, organization and monitoring of health services besides improved health and quality of life.
