The objective of this study was to describe the scientific production on men’s artistic gymnastics (MAG) in journals indexed on the Scopus and Web of Science platforms. To this end, we searched on both platforms for the keywords “men’s artistic gymnastics” and "male artistic gymnastics", with a non-specified date range. After applying the exclusion criteria, 52 scientific articles were found, distributed between 1994 and 2019. The year with the highest number of publications so far is 2018, with emphasis on the period between 2014 and 2018. The authors who contributed the most were Maurice Yeadon and Michael Hiley (both from British universities), Marco Bortoleto (from Brazil), and Ivan Čuk (from Slovenia). There is a predominance of MAG-related articles in the Science of Gymnastics Journal (21%), followed by the Journal of Biomechanics (7%). The articles deal with the biomechanics of gymnastics (34%), the rules of the sport and its judging (19%), the social, historical and political aspects of gymnastics (14%), morphological characteristics of athletes (10%), athletes’ health (10%), gymnastics training aspects (8%), and finally, analyses of athletes’ age over the years (6%).

Como elemento constitutivo do esporte moderno e elo de ligação com a sociedade, a tecnologia consolidou-se como um relevante objeto de estudo. Sob o argumento do aprimoramento da funcionalidade dos equipamentos, do aumento da segurança e da optimização da performance, esse imbricado processo mediado pelos interesses econômicos e políticos, materializa-se num particular segmento da indústria e do comércio. Considerando que o desenvolvimento dos aparelhos da Ginástica Artística vem modificando substancialmente a sua prática, o interesse das federações nacionais e clubes fez aumentar a demanda pelo assessoramento técnico-científico. O presente artigo investiga, por meio de uma análise documental combinada, o desenvolvimento da indústria, o registro de propriedade intelectual como dispositivo moderador e a centralidade da Federação Internacional de Ginástica (FIG) por meio da exigência de certificação. Os resultados indicam uma recente mudança geopolítica dos fabricantes, com ascensão das corporações chinesas, o aumento dos pedidos de patente e um conjunto restrito de fabricantes que obtiveram a certificação de seus aparelhos. Observamos, ainda, uma indústria nacional defasada em termos tecnológicos e centralizada na região sudeste, condições que mantém a dependência tecnológica do Brasil apesar da melhora substancial dos resultados competitivos dos(as) ginastas brasileiros(as) nos principais eventos desta modalidade.

Cilj sestavka je opisati načrt vadbe in strategije, ki so jih razvili z olimpijskim prvakom, telovadcem na krogih. V Londonu 2012 je brazilski in tudi južno ameriški telovadec postal prvi olimpijski zmagovalec na olimpijskih igrah. Na olimpijskih igrah v Riu 2016 je telovadec ponovno stal na stopničkah in osvojil srebrno medaljo. Vendar še nismo videli predstavitve poti, ki bi osvetlile pripravo športnika, ki je dosegel vrhunec s tako neverjetnimi dosežki na celinski ravni. Predstavljamo strukturo načrtovanja in izvedbe tega telovadca za obdobje, ki je vključevalo olimpijske igre. Za podrobnejšo obdelavo vadbe procesa smo razčlenili vadbene liste s testi moči, veliko obdobje ter telesno in tehnično pripravo, razporejenimi na tri pod obdobij. Načrt, ki so ga izvajali vaditelji, je telovadca pripeljala do povečanja težavnosti tehničnih prvin sestave, kar je omogočilo povečanje končne uspešnosti. Glavni dejavniki, ki so omogočili olimpijski rezultat, sta bila načrtovanje treh obdobij priprave in tekmovalna taktika v pripravljalnemu ocenjevanju.
