The species Astyanax aff. fasciatus was investigated as regards differences in reproductive tactics in three reservoirs with different ages (Iraí, Piraquara and Passaúna) located in the same geographic region. The biological material was obtained through monthly collections carried out from july/2006 to june/2007. The average value of the gonadosomatic index (GSI) in Passaúna reservoir was significantly higher in relation to the values obtained in the other reservoirs. Spawning was total in Iraí reservoir and partial in the others. Allometric growth of the species was negative in Iraí reservoir and positive in the others. The highest condition factor value was estimated in Iraí reservoir, followed by Piraquara and Passaúna reservoirs, respectively. Females predominated in all of the reservoirs during the study period. The sex ratio per length class showed, for the three reservoirs, the predominance of males in the smaller length classes. These results verified that the species uses distinct reproductive tactics in the analyzed reservoirs and that these tactics seem to reflect the degree of stabilization of each environment.A espécie Astyanax aff. fasciatus foi investigada quanto a diferenças nas táticas reprodutivas em três reservatórios de diferentes idades (Iraí, Piraquara e Passaúna), localizados em uma mesma região geográfica. O material biológico foi obtido através de coletas mensais realizadas de julho/2006 a junho/2007. Evidenciou-se maior atividade reprodutiva nos períodos mais quentes do ano. O valor médio do IGS no reservatório do Passaúna apresentou-se significativamente maior em relação aos valores obtidos nos outros reservatórios. A desova foi caracterizada do tipo total no reservatório do Iraí e do tipo parcelada nos outros reservatórios. A espécie apresentou crescimento alométrico negativo no reservatório do Iraí e alométrico positivo nos reservatórios do Passaúna e Piraquara. O maior valor do fator de condição foi estimado no reservatório do Iraí, seguido pelos reservatórios do Piraquara e Passaúna, respectivamente. Durante o período de estudo as fêmeas predominaram sobre os machos em todos os reservatórios. A análise da proporção sexual por classe de comprimento evidenciou, para os três reservatórios, o predomínio de machos nas menores classes de comprimento. Através destes resultados constatou-se que a espécie utiliza táticas reprodutivas distintas para os reservatórios analisados e que estas táticas parecem refletir o grau de estabilização de cada ambiente.

In this work the length-weight relationship and the condition factor of Astyanax intermedius parasitised and not by Paracymothoa astyanaxi were analysed in the Grande River. The length-weight relationship was estimated for females, males and immatures, and seasonally for the fishes and the parasites through the expression W = aL b . The condition factor of non-parasitised specimens differed seasonally and between sexes, contrasting with the results for parasitised fishes which showed no differences between sexes and season. The condition factor of non-parasitised specimens was higher than that of the parasitised fishes. Specimens of Astyanax intermedius parasitised do not have the same biotic conditions compared to non-parasitised individuals, in which the condition factor was similar over the years. In conclusion, parasitism by P. astyanaxi has deleterious effects on this host population which may cause changes in the reproductive and food dynamics of parasitised specimens due to low body conditions. Foram analisados a relação peso-comprimento e o fator de condição de Astyanax intermedius parasitados ou não pelo isópode Paracymothoa astyanaxi. A relação peso-comprimento foi estimada para fêmeas, machos e imaturos, e sazonalmente tanto para os peixes quanto para o parasito, por meio da expressão P = aC b . O fator de condição dos exemplares não parasitados diferiu sazonalmente e entre os sexos, contrastando com os valores do fator de condição dos peixes parasitados, que não apresentaram diferenças sazonais e entre os sexos. O fator de condição dos exemplares não parasitados foi sempre maior do que o dos exemplares parasitados. Os exemplares de Astyanax intermedius parasitados não passaram pelas mesmas condições bióticas dos indivíduos não parasitados, apresentando um fator de condição semelhante ao longo do ano. Conclui-se que o parasitismo por P. astyanaxi atua de forma deletéria na população desse hospedeiro, podendo causar alterações nas dinâmicas reprodutiva e alimentar dos exemplares parasitados em razão da baixa condição corpórea. This research aimed to study existence of blood clams population and the environmental factors that affect them. This research was conducted in the coastal waters of Banyuasin in February 2015. The blood clamp sample was collected using Ekman Grab at low tide. From the observation in the research site, the highest population density was 60 ind/m2 with clay substrate texture, while the lowest density was 20 ind/m 2 on the dusty clay substrate. Blood clams population was not found on the sand substrate texture station. Morphometric data showed that the blood clam population in the research site, including the medium category with b < 3 growth pattern (allometric negative). The results of PCA analysis proved that the habitat texture and sediment organic habitats were dominant factors besides the chemical physics environmental factors of the waters (temperature, salinity, pH). Keywords: Blood clams, density, morphometric, PCA Abstrak (Indonesian):Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari keberadaan populasi kerang-darah dan faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perairan pesisir Banyuasin pada bulan Februari 2015. Sampel kerang-darah diambil dengan menggunakan Ekman Grab pada saat air surut. Dari hasil pengamatan pada lokasi penelitian, kepadatan populasi kerang-darah tertinggi adalah 60 ind/m 2 dengan tekstur substrat lempung, sedangkan kepadatan terendah adalah 20 ind/m2 pada substrat lempung berdebu. Populasi kerang-darah tidak ditemukan pada stasiun dengan tekstur substrat pasir. Data morfometrik menunjukkan bahwa populasi kerang-darah di lokasi penelitian termasuk kategori sedang dengan pola pertumbuhan b < 3 (allometrik negatif). Hasil analisis PCA membuktikan bahwa tekstur habitat dan bahan organik sedimen merupakan faktor dominan di samping faktor lingkungan fisika kimia perairan (suhu, salinitas, pH).
