“…Deste modo, observa--se no presente estudo que o grau da percepção está diretamente relacionado ao grau da perda auditiva. Este achado corrobora estudo realizado na Universidade Federal de São Paulo 8 , com 78 idosos oriundos dos ambulatórios de Geriatria e Audiologia da instituição, que revelou associação com significância estatística entre o grau da perda auditiva e o grau de percepção da restrição à participação auditiva, de ambos os ambulatórios. Ou seja, percebe-se que à medida que aumentou o grau da perda auditiva também houve um aumento da percepção da restrição à participação auditiva.…”
