This study addresses the inclusion of artistic activities in the context of after-school programs. We consider it important to map and investigate how the inclusion of these activities, as well as relationships between young individuals and education institutions, have been discussed. Theses and dissertations, available on the CAPES platform between 2000 and 2012, the themes of which were artistic activities included in after-school programs, were analyzed. The method used is defined as “State of the Art”. A total of 49 theses and dissertations were found and categories such as main topic and results were analyzed. This analysis highlights new ways of doing research and current opportunities of aesthetic education directed to young individuals. The results show changes in the lives of young individuals participating in educational projects that include Art. Enabling access to aesthetic knowledge within formal educational institutions is essential.

RESUMOEsta pesquisa descritiva documental do tipo descritiva teve por objetivo analisar as recomendações pedagógicas emitidas pelas Equipes Colaboradoras e registradas nos instrumentos de avaliação de visita in loco, com vistas à compreensão da efetividade da estratégia de acompanhamento e assessoria pedagógica adotada pelo Programa Segundo Tempo. Para tanto, foram utilizados, como fonte de dados, 260 instrumentos de avaliação in loco, os quais são elaborados a partir do acompanhamento e assessoria pedagógica das Equipes Colaboradoras junto aos convênios atendidos pelo Programa Segundo Tempo. Para o tratamento dos dados, recorreu-se à estatística descritiva e à técnica de análise de conteúdo. Observou-se que o suporte pedagógico das Equipes Colaboradoras é uma ação em potencial para a organização do trabalho nos convênios para atendimento das diretrizes pedagógicas do programa, indicando a relevância dessa estratégia para a qualificação do atendimento ofertado nos núcleos de esporte educacional. A modo de conclusão, entende-se que a estratégia adotada pelo programa de acompanhar e assessorar o trabalho pedagógico se coloca como ação indispensável para a qualificação da proposta pedagógica do Programa Segundo Tempo. ABSTRACTThis descriptive descriptive documentary research aimed to analyze the pedagogical recommendations issued by the Collaborating Teams and registered in the instruments of evaluation of on site visit, with a view to understanding the effectiveness of the strategy of accompaniment and pedagogical advice adopted by the Segundo Tempo Program. For this purpose, 260 on-site evaluation instruments were used as data sources, which are elaborated based on the accompaniment and pedagogical advice of the Collaborating Teams along with the agreements served by the Segundo Tempo Program. For the treatment of the data, we used descriptive statistics and the technique of content analysis. It was observed that the pedagogical support of the Collaborating Teams is an important action for the organization of work in the agreements to meet the pedagogical guidelines of the program, indicating the relevance of this strategy for the qualification of the service offered in the educational sports nucleus. Completion mode means that the strategy adopted by the program to monitor and advise the pedagogical work stands as an essential action for the qualification of the pedagogical proposal of the Segundo Tempo Program.

A noção de periculosidade da infância pobre vem sendo construída, desde as políticas higienistas do início do século passado, figurando a escola, muitas vezes, como solução para a desigualdade social. Tratou-se de pesquisa qualitativo descritiva, a partir de entrevistas individuais com trabalhadores de um Núcleo de Educação de Tempo Integral, acerca das crianças e adolescentes em situação de risco e vulnerabilidade social, a partir da teoria das Representações Sociais. Os discursos dos entrevistados descrevem as crianças e adolescentes como vítimas tanto da rua como de suas próprias famílias, percebidas como perigosas e negligentes. Emerge a imagem de uma escola que não apenas instrui e ensina, mas cuida e protege os alunos de uma realidade dura e cruel, alunos cujas famílias não apresentam condições adequadas de exercer o cuidado necessário. Concluindo, tal proteção é descrita como importante para a defesa da sociedade, pois as crianças e adolescentes pobres aparecem não como estando em risco social, mas como sendo o próprio risco.
