Abstract: Therapeutic touch (TT) is one of the oldest vibrational therapies still in use. Dolores Krieger and Dora Kunz, in the 1970s, pioneered the application of the method in nursing. “…The historical features of the therapeutic touch are directly related to nursing care, since it emerged from the perception of the American nurse Dolores Krieger and the Dutch therapist Dora Van Gelber Kunz, in 1970, and it is based on the imposition of hands with the intention of harmonizing the Human Energy Field (HEF).
