Abstract: The objective of this study was to construct normative tables for the Rorschach Comprehensive System for Brazilian children from public and private schools. “…The variables that could differentiate the groups with p <0.05 were also present in other studies with inkblots (Ribeiro et al, 2011, Resende et al, 2012 and are in agreement with what is expected in theories of child development, indicating that there is a greater complexity of characteristics linked to psychic functioning as the age increases (Vigotski, 2005;Alberto & Santos, 2011). Thus, this research corroborates the studies that suggest the ZCS is suitable for use with children (Villemor-Amaral & Quirino, 2013; Tavella & Villemor-Amaral, 2014; Carvalho, 2015;Villemor-Amaral & Vieira, 2016), reaffirming the possibility of using this method for with children Nunes et al (2010) defended the importance of such assessments.…”

“…A study by Ribeiro et al (2011) with the Rorschach-CS also found lower R average for children 7 years of age compared to those who were older. This data is expected, since children have less life experience and still limited possibilities of association.…”

“…Different authors have appointed the Rorschach Method as a highly useful instrument, as it permits the understanding of emotional, social and cognitive functioning (Fernandes, 2010;Hisatugo & Custódio, 2013;Jacquemin, 2012;Nascimento et al, 2009;Raspantini, 2010;Resende, Carvalho, & Martins, 2012;Ribeiro, Semer, & Yazigi, 2011;Semer, 2008). Despite using different interpretative systems of the Rorschach, all of these studies have indicated possibilities to use the same method with children.…”
