The corpus was digitized, annotated with tags and later processed in WordSmith Tools 7.0. Then, it was aligned in an MS Excel template (FLEURI, 2013), so that the analysis would not rely solely on numbers. The main results show that in the retextualization existential Processes are placed in thematic position to indicate the absence of Subject, there are less comment Themes, more equative Themes and a larger number of continuatives in thematic position. Other results indicate systemic differences between the languages studied.
