Poluição e doenças ocupacionais pulmonares

Abstract: Foram apresentados quatro trabalhos sobre Doenças Ocupacionais Pulmonares, sendo dois experimentais e dois clíni-cos, e cinco trabalhos sobre Poluição, sendo três experimentais e dois epidemiológicos. “…A similar study showed that the most common symptoms, in order of frequency, were phlegm (41.7%), wheezing (33.0%), cough (31.9%), and dyspnea (9.7%) 20 ; in the present study, the results were similar, but the percentages were lower. Phlegm has also been found to be the most prevalent respiratory symptom in coal miners (36.4%) 21 .
