“…K. pneumoniae was considered to be one of the most important zoonotic bacterial pathogens, and induced serious infection mainly due to hypervirulent K. pneumoniae (hvKp) strains (Jun 2018;Effah et al 2020). The hvKp infections have been associated with severe suppurative pneumonia in sheep and sea lion (Gameel et al 1991;Jang et al 2010), and widely reported as the causative agent of mastitis in cattle with a poor prognosis (Ribeiro et al 2008). Pulmonary infections in cattle caused by K. pneumoniae infection are very limited, primarily in Indonesian local cattle.…”
