-The present study was conducted to evaluate different fertilization-management strategies in ten progenies of passion fruit from the third recurrent selection cycle and their effects on yield and fruitquality traits. For this purpose, we adopted the strategy of correlations analysis, using the phenotypic and path correlations in different environmental conditions characterized by three levels of fertilization. The trial was set up as a randomized-block design in a split-plot arrangement with progenies representing the plots and three levels of potassium-nitrogen fertilization as the sub-plots, with three replicates. Path analysis showed that number of fruits was the variable of highest correlation with fruit diameter at fertilization I. Fruit weight and pulp weight were correlated with each other and with other traits like fruit length and fruit diameter at the three fertilization levels, except for number of fruits, which was correlated with nitrogen and potassium only at fertilization II. Path analysis also revealed that fruit diameter (3.125) showed the highest direct effect on yield at fertilization I. However, fruit weight and number of fruits showed, at fertilization II, the highest direct effects of 2.964 and 1.134 on yield, respectively, and number of fruits had a high phenotypic correlation and direct effect on yield at the three fertilization levels: 0.528 at fertilization I; 2.206 at fertilization II; and 0.928 at fertilization III. The results demonstrate the greater direct effect obtained with fertilization II, suggesting that the level adopted at fertilization II can provide satisfactory gains in yield and is thus recommended for the population in question. RELAÇÃO ENTRE PRODUTIVIDADE E QUALIDADE DE FRUTOS DE PROGÊNIES C 03 DE MARACUJÁ-AZEDO SOB DIFERENTES NÍVEIS NUTRICIONAISRESUMO-O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com a finalidade de avaliar diferentes manejos de adubação em dez progênies de maracujazeiro-azedo do terceiro ciclo de seleção recorrente e seus efeitos sobre variáveis de produção e qualidade de frutos. Para isso lançou-se mão da estratégia da análise de correlações via correlações fenotípicas e de trilha, em diferentes condições de ambiente caracterizados por três níveis de adubação. O ensaio foi montado em delineamento de blocos ao acaso num esquema de parcelas subdivididas com as progênies nas parcelas e os três níveis de adubação potássica e nitrogenada nas subparcelas, com três repetições. Resumo -Objetivou-se avaliar o efeito da aplicação de esterco bovino líquido e uréia no crescimento e na alocação de biomassa nos diferentes órgãos do maracujazeiro amarelo. O experimento foi desenvolvido no período de setembro de 2006 a dezembro de 2007, no município de Remígio -PB. O delineamento experimental foi o de blocos ao acaso com três repetições e três plantas por parcela, totalizando 180 plantas para observação, usando esquema fatorial 5 x 2, referente ao esterco bovino líquido (ELB) nas proporções em água (A) de 0% (0ELB + 4A); 25% (1ELB + 3A); 50% (2ELB + 2A); 75% (3ELB + 1A) e 100% (4ELB + 0A), tomando 4 L planta -1 da mistura como volume padrão no solo sem e com nitrogênio, fornecido a cada 30 dias após o plantio até o final do experimento. Aos 420 dias após o plantio foi obtido o diâmetro do caule, contado o número de ramos produtivos e as plantas foram divididas em raízes, caules, ramos laterais, ramos produtivos e folhas para avaliação da matéria seca das partes constituintes do maracujazeiro amarelo. Pelos resultados se constatou que a interação esterco líquido bovino x nitrogênio exerceu efeitos significativos sobre o diâmetro do caule, número de ramos produtivos, biomassa das raízes, do caule, das folhas, dos ramos laterais e dos ramos produtivos, em que os valores na maioria dos casos aumentaram com os percentuais do esterco líquido de bovino, mas com superioridade nos tratamentos com uréia. Nitrogênio -Fixação.Abstract -This study was carried out in order to evaluate the effect of liquid cattle manure and urea on dry matter production in different parts of yellow passion fruit plants. The experiment was conducted during the period of September 2006 to December 2007, in Remígio county Paraiba State, Brazil. The experimental design was randomized blocks with three replications using the factorial squeme 5 x 2 referring to liquid cattle manure (CLM) diluted with water (W) at levels 0% (0CLM + 4W); 25% (1CLM + 3W); 50% (2CLM + 2W); 75% (3CLM + 1W) and 100% (4CLM + 0W) taking 4 L plant -1 as standard volume of each mixture in soil without and with nitrogen applied monthly from 30 days after the planting to the end of the experiment. At 420 days after planting, were obtained the stem diameter and the number of productive branches of the plants; then, the plants were collected, each plant was divided in root, stem, lateral and productive branches and was obtained the dry matter of each part of the plant. The results showed that the interaction liquid cattle manure x nitrogen exercise significant effect on stem diameter, productive branches and biomass of the root, stem, leaves, lateral and productive branches, but with statistic superiority to plants with cattle liquid manure and urea applied to the soil.

Resumo -A produção sustentável de mudas é de essencial importância para a sanidade de produções futuras das culturas, entre elas está principalmente as frutíferas, onde, uma boa muda resulta posteriormente em uma boa fornecedora de frutos de qualidade. Assim, objetivou-se avaliar o desenvolvimento inicial de mudas de maracujazeiro amarelo sob ação de níveis de água disponível e aplicação de fertilizante orgânico a base de urina de vaca. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado (5x2) com cinco repetições, totalizando 50 unidades experimentais; os tratamentos consistiram da combinação de cinco níveis de água disponível (60; 70; 80; 90 e 100 %), 1 -com a aplicação (C) e 2 -sem a aplicação (S) de solução a base de urina de vaca. Todas as variáveis estudadas nas mudas de maracujazeiro responderam linearmente a disponibilidade hídrica imposta a elas, de acordo com que se aumentou a água disponível os resultados foram incrementados, já com e sem a aplicação de solução a base de urina de vaca, não surtiram efeitos significativos. Thus, the objective was to evaluate the initial development of seedlings was yellow under the action of water levels available, application of organic fertilizer based on cow urine. The experimental design was completely randomized (5x2) with five replicates, totaling 50 experimental units , treatments were combinations of five levels of water available (60, 70, 80, 90 and 100%), 1 with the application (C) 2 andwithout the application (s) based solution cow urine . All variables in seedlings was linearly responded to water availability imposed on them, according to which increased the water available the results were increased , as with and without the application of solution -based cow urine , did not produce significant effects .
