Munari DB, Chaves LDP, Peduzzi M, Laus AM, Fugulin FMT, Ribeiro LCM, Scochi CGS RESUMO Trata-se de um estudo documental, descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, com o objetivo de caracterizar a produção da pós--graduação brasileira na área da enfermagem no triênio [2007][2008][2009], com ênfase na temática gerenciamento em enfermagem. As informações foram obtidas no banco de dados da CAPES, que disponibiliza resumos de dissertações e teses. O material foi analisado e categorizado segundo as áreas/ campos e respectivas linhas de pesquisa, definidas pela área de Enfermagem. A aná-lise da produção em geral foi descritiva e analítica/crítica no campo organizacional, especificamente, na temática do gerenciamento. Os resultados mostraram algumas mudanças na produção no triênio, quando comparada aos estudos anteriores, destacando-se o crescimento da área/campo assistencial, manutenção da organizacional e queda na área/campo profissional. Na temática de gerenciamento houve o predomínio de estudos sobre avaliação em saú-de, concepções/percepções sobre planejamento/organização, do trabalho-serviços e educação permanente. Data was collected from the CAPES database, which allows access to the abstracts of theses and dissertations. The material was analyzed and categorized according to areas/fields and the respective lines of research, as defined in Nursing. The overall production analysis was descriptive and analytical in the field of organization, namely management. The results showed that, compared to previous studies, production underwent some changes in the triennium, with an increase in the area of health care, maintenance in the organizational area, and decrease in the professional area. Regarding the management theme, most studies addressed health assessment, the conceptions/perceptions regarding planning/organizing work-services and permanent education. Objective: to identify, describe and analyze characteristics of leadership, head nurses and participants in the teaching-learning process of leadership in Nursing, according to nurse professors who performed studies on this theme and taught such content between 1972 and 1994 in nursing schools of the state of São Paulo, southeastern Brazil. Methods: Thematic Oral History was used. A total of four nurse professors were interviewed, whose reports were submitted to content analysis. Results: the following aspects were approached in this study: the context in which students developed leadership, the infl uence of previous experiences on leadership qualifi cation, its attributes, the importance of leadership, the value of teaching it, the possibilities of emancipation of a head nurse, the repercussions of teaching leadership for one's professional life, the relationships between qualifi cation and job market, the aspects of teaching qualifi cation and students' characteristics. Conclusion: although not essential for nursing qualifi cation, leadership had a symbolic capital. RESUMOObjetivo: identifi car, descrever e analisar características da liderança, do enfermeiro-líder e dos atores do processo ensinoaprendizagem da liderança em Enfermagem segundo enfermeiras docentes que realizaram pesquisas sobre esse tema e ministraram esse conteúdo entre 1972 e 1994, em escolas paulistas. Método: História Oral Temática. Entrevistadas quatro enfermeiras docentes, cujos depoimentos foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Resultados: foram abordados o contexto no qual os alunos desenvolviam a liderança, a infl uência de vivências prévias na formação do líder, seus atributos, a importância da liderança, o valor de ensiná-la, as possibilidades de emancipação do enfermeiro-líder, as repercussões do ensino da liderança na vida profi ssional, as relações entre a formação e o mercado de trabalho, os aspectos da formação docente e as características dos alunos. Conclusão: embora não fosse imprescindível para a formação do enfermeiro, a liderança era seu capital simbólico. Objective: To historicize the changes in training human resources in nursing in Brazil during the period from 1942 to 1961 based on the presence of 35 American nurses assigned to work in cooperation with Special Public Health Service. Method: The sources used for the study were reports written by American nurses who described their impressions, suggestions, and the activities they carried out in the country. These were analyzed based on the discourse analysis of Michel Foucault. Results: The period mentioned was marked by an American presence in nursing projects developed by the Special Public Health Service. The discourses indicated that the period was marked by many changes in Brazilian nursing, particularly with respect to attracting and training human resources for the profession. Conclusion: The results indicate that the American nurses, through what they said and their influence, were central to the consolidation of a new paradigm in the training of nursing professionals in Brazil.
