This paper aims to develop and implement a method to identify the causes of the choice of a course and the reasons for evasion in higher education. This way, we sought to identify the factors that influence student choice to opt for Higher Education Institution parsed, as well as the factors influencing its evasion. The methodology employed was the use of multivariate statistics to identify the factors that contribute to the process investigated.The research method was the case study of a community educational institution from Southern Santa Catarina, in Brazil.Results show that the factors that influence the choice of the Higher Education Institution are the infrastructure for the development of education, and also for the development of research and extension activities, as well as highlight the possibility of the student attending the course chosen and pursue their professional activities.

RESUMOO objetivo deste estudo foi caracterizar o perfil e a qualidade de vida dos docentes Enfermeiros de Universidades Privadas e Pública de Curitiba -PR. Estudo exploratóriodescritivo com abordagem quantitativa do tipo transversal, desenvolvido com 44 docentes de nove instituições de ensino superior. Para a coleta dos dados, utilizou-se um questionário contendo variáveis sociodemográficas e um instrumento de avaliação de qualidade de vida (Whoqol--bref abreviado), contendo 26 perguntas estruturadas, avaliando diversas facetas, duas das quais sobre a qualidade de vida geral e 24 acerca dos quatro domínios: físico, psicológico, relações sociais e meio ambiente. Os dados foram coletados por meio do google docs, e analisados pelo programa Microsoft Excell, aplicou-se o Teste Wilcoxon e Teste de Correlação de Pearson para avaliação dos escores de qualidade de vida entre os docentes. Participaram 18 docentes de Instituição Pública e 26 de privadas, predominando o gênero feminino com 84,1%, A maior média em relação aos domínios são as relações sociais com 73,48±17,63 e o menor score o domínio físico com 59,17±9,38. Conclui-se que não existem diferenças significativas entre a QV dos Docentes Enfermeiros das IES Públicas e Privadas. ABSTRACTThe objective of this study was to characterize the profile and quality of life of teaching nurses at private and public universities in Curitiba, PR. This is an exploratory, descriptive, cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, developed with 44 teachers from nine higher education institutions. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire containing sociodemographic variables and a quality of life assessment tool (abbreviated WHOQOL-BREF) containing 26 structured questions. These assessed various aspects, with two items on the overall quality of life and 24 about the four domains: physical, psychological, social relationships, and environment. Data were collected using Google Docs and analyzed using Microsoft Excel. We applied the Wilcoxon test and Pearson's correlation test to evaluate the quality of life scores among the teachers. Participants included 18 teachers from public institutions and 26 from private ones, and were predominantly females, at 84.1%. The highest mean in relation to the domains is for social relations, with 73.48 ± 17.63, and the lowest for the physical, with 59.17 ± 9.38. It is concluded that there are no significant differences between the QOL of nursing teachers in the public and private higher education institutions.

Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo propor diretrizes para a formação regionalizada do ensino de Administração no Nordeste brasileiro. O artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa empírica realizada com professores que atuaram na criação de cursos de Administração de Universidades Públicas. Assim, discute-se sobre o contexto do ensino de Administração no Nordeste, com ênfase em questões regionais que impactam na qualidade da formação do administrador. As diretrizes contextuais propostas para uma formação regionalizada do aluno de Administração delimitam possíveis caminhos e alternativas que ajudam os agentes envolvidos no estabelecimento de políticas públicas de educação superior, assim como gestores e professores que atuam nos cursos de administração da região a repensarem o processo de formação de maneira alinhada ao contexto regional. Por m, o trabalho suscita uma maior amplitude sobre o debate em torno da temática de uma formação quali cada do administrador em contextos regionais.Abstract:  is article aims to propose guidelines for the regionalized trainning of the management education in brazilian Northeast.  e article is the result of an empirical survey realized with professors who worked in the creation of management courses from Public Universities.  us, it discussed about the context of the management education in the Northeast, with emphasis on regional issues that impact on the administrator development quality. Contextual guidelines proposed for a regionalized development of the management students delimit possible ways and alternatives that help the agents involved in the establishment of public policies for higher education, as well as managers and lecturers who work in management courses in the region to rethink the formation process in alignment to the regional context. Finally, the work raises a greater extent on the debate around the theme of the quali ed development of the administrator in regional context.
