This article seeks to design a new investigative approach in education field of studies, starting from the youth, building it as a “place of observation” of the high school reform. In it, we will, at first, deal with youth as a social position, subject to a variety of living conditions and modes of expression. In a second movement, we will try to demonstrate the analytical possibilities opened up by such an approach to the field of education, based on transition studies and through an analysis exercise on high school and its reform. The results point, firstly, to a definition of youth in which space (place, in Bourdieu’s perspective) and time (flow of history, in Mannheim’s formulation) synthesize the location of this social group (young people). Secondly, by taking high school as a dividing line between different modes of school-work transition, we will demonstrate the impact of the reform on those it casts in the shadows: young people recently included in this level of education.

Addressing the political subjectivations in the June 2013 Journeys, this study aims to analyze the political formation of young people based on their experience participating in 2013 demonstrations and its influences in the reconstruction of their political and educational identities and trajectories. In dialogue with the notions of itineraries and trajectories, a bibliographic review was carried out on results that dealt with the 2013 Journeys regarding the themes of youth, students, education, subjectivities, and identities. As theoretical framework, Jacques Rancière’s notion of political subjectivation guides our formulation of research questions, which are described as our main results. Thus, as results, rather than conclusions, this study build analysis scripts to guide field research on “Educational dimensions of the 2013 Journeys: Educational agendas, school experiences, and political formation of young people in protest,” which will interview militants and activists in 10 Brazilian states on questions about the tensions and approximations between the contingent experiences of protesting (which created moments of political subjectivation), coexistence in a “multitude” of multiple identities that are affirmed and rebuilt. Also, questions on the ambiguities and contradictions of the Journeys — expressed in the bifurcation of protest paths in the following years between continuing progressive demonstrations and the conservative drift that impeached Dilma in 2016 and elected a candidate of the extreme right in 2018.

Resumo Tendo como tema as subjetivações políticas nas Jornadas de Junho de 2013, o artigo objetiva analisar a formação política de jovens propiciada pela experiência de participação nas manifestações, bem como suas influências na reconstrução de identidades e trajetórias políticas e educacionais. Em diálogo com as noções de itinerários e trajetórias, é feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre produtos que trataram das Jornadas de 2013 nos temas juventude, estudantes, educação, subjetivações e identidades. Como referencial teórico, a noção de subjetivação política de Jacques Rancière orienta a formulação de questões de pesquisa, as quais são apresentadas como principais resultados. Assim, como resultados, mais do que conclusões, o artigo constrói roteiros de análise que orientarão a pesquisa de campo para a pesquisa “Dimensões educacionais das Jornadas de 2013: Pautas educacionais, experiências escolares e formação política de jovens em protesto”, quando serão entrevistados militantes e ativistas em dez estados brasileiros. Destacam-se as interrogações sobre as tensões e aproximações entre, de um lado, as experiências contingentes de participação nos protestos – que criaram momentos de subjetivação política – e, de outro, a convivência, em “multidão”, de múltiplas identidades que são afirmadas e reconstruídas. Também, interrogações a respeito das ambiguidades e contradições das Jornadas, expressas na bifurcação dos caminhos dos protestos nos anos seguintes, entre a continuidade de manifestações progressistas e a deriva conservadora que implicou no impeachment de Dilma, em 2016, e na eleição do candidato da extrema-direita, em 2018.
