Objetivo: Rastrear os agenciamentos político-organizacionais a que são submetidos a equipe de enfermagem durante seu processo de trabalho no espaço do centro cirúrgico. Métodos: Estudo descritivo, observacional quanti-qualitativo, utilizando-se das pistas 2, 3 e 5 da cartografia. O centro cirúrgico de um hospital universitário foi o cenário da coleta de dados de junho a setembro de 2021 pelos diários de campo. Observaram-se 32 intervenções cirúrgicas com 89 membros da equipe de enfermagem de um universo de 161. Resultados: Na sala de operações, 97,67% são técnicos de enfermagem com uma média de três membros por cirurgia. A urologia foi a especialidade mais frequente e a maioria ocorreu em período diurno. O tempo em sala de operações foi de 4h25’56”em média. Os agenciamentos capturados nas observações destacaram que a equipe médica é imperativa aos fluxos gerados, além da falta e falha como elementos molares-moleculares da instituição e da equipe. Conclusão: Gerir é um território/ato de enfermagem no centro cirúrgico durante ocorrências, falhas, desorganizações e faltas, mas atitudinalmente determinante para efetivação de ações molares do que está planejado dentro da organização político-institucional, considerando que o gerir de dentro das salas é do técnico de enfermagem e o de fora é do enfermeiro.

Objective To analyze the contributions of Florence Nightingale`s care model in the COVID- 19 pandemic. Method Reflection that addresses her theoretical model and its validity in this pandemic, using interpretative research methods and limiting nursing care to primary care. Results Some pandemics that have caused great impact in humanity are reviewed throughout history; the evolution of nursing care in relation to pandemics is studied; the genesis of community nursing is considered, and Nightingale’s care model is reviewed in COVID-19. Conclusions Florence Nightingale's thinking withstands the passage of time and, today, as the COVID-19 pandemic rages across the planet, her concept of holistic care and her idea of the art of nursing take on special significance by considering the context involving patients, families and communities.

To explore the contemporary narrative of nursing identity in Spain. Method: This qualitative study was conducted between 2018 and 2020. Eleven registered nurses were interviewed. The conversations were recorded in audio, were semistructured, and held in a mental health clinic affiliated with a Catholic institution. Narrative analysis of the data was carried out. Findings: Two themes were identified: How do I construct my professional life?, with the subthemes 'Training and initiation in care practice', 'Ways of living the professional care experience', 'The sculpting of care' and 'Selfimage and future projection'; and What do I know about my practice?, with the subthemes 'Nursing experience: shift, days, years', 'Strategy in the field of nursing care', 'Some foundations of caregiving practice', 'The specificity of the gesture of care' and 'Voice and recognition of nursing within the institution'. Conclusion: Contemporary nursing identity is built in reflections on the epistemology of care, confronting the weight of tradition and breaking into new modes of self-image where the profession is legitimized and projected from historical consciousness. This claim can be used to support reflective practice in academic and healthcare settings as well as to promote a paradigm shift.
