Emulsifier Supplementation Response in Ross 308 Broilers at 1-10 Days

Abstract: The study was conducted to check the effect of emulsifier supplementation on growth performance of broiler birds on starter phase, from days 1 to 10. In the current study, a total of twelve hundred twenty-four Ross 308 broiler one day old chicks were used. Ross 308 broiler chicks were divided into two groups in such a way that each group had12 replicates, and each replicate had 51 birds. The duration of the current trial was of 10 days. Chicks were fed experimental diets with or without emulsifier supplementat… Show more

“…Excreta samples were subsequently oven dried in a hot air oven at 105 ºC for 2 hours for DM determination (Arshad et al, 2020;Rehman et al, 2019). Ash content was estimated by burning the sample in a muffle furnace at 650 ºC for 2 hours (Bajwa et al, 2020;Shahid et al, 2020). Crude protein content was calculated by multiplying nitrogen (through Kjeldahl method) by 6.25 (AOAC, 2000).…”

“…Livestock and poultry are highquality protein foods for humans. Therefore, the quality of livestock and poultry feed ingredients is closely related to animals and human health (Zhang et al, 2015; 2016; Qiu et al, 2018;Sharif et al, 2018;Qiu et al, 2019a;Qiu et al, 2019b;Qiu et al, 2020a;Qiu et al, 2020b;Shahid et al, 2020;Sharif et al, 2020;Shahid et al, 2021). Mulberry leaves are rich in nutrients especially with a high crude protein (CP) content, and they provide balanced amino acids with high digestibility (Saddul et al, 2005;Yulistiani et al, 2015).…”
