In this paper, we propose a Science subject program based on programming learning to improve computational thinking ability in middle school. As the necessity of software education rises recently, the subject of information was designated as the mandatory subject in elementary, middle and high schools. In order to cultivate the ability that enables the leaners to search the knowledge in need by themselves and raise troubleshooting method, not the existing indoctrination, his thesis was willing to improve Computational Thinking ability and improve the ability of considering and thinking the matters by using scratch language. For that, this thesis developed and suggested science subject program that utilizes the programming learning.
This study is on information literacy standards and models analysis, which will be used as the source material to measure undergraduates' information literacy. After main areas and items that are analyzed with three standards and two models are proposed, finally item model(proposal) for scale development is proposed. It consists of six main areas and eighteen items. The scale development item model(proposal) proposed in this study will be used as the source material to measure undergraduates' information literacy that will be studied in future.
A study in humans suggests that MC4R antagonists could be useful for treating hypertension. Overweight and obese subjects with inherited partial loss-of-function mutations in MC4R had a lower prevalence of hypertension than overweight and obese controls with normal MC4R levels (24% vs. 53%; p=0.009). MC4R-deficient subjects treated with an MC4R agonist showed higher blood pressure than untreated controls. Next steps could include testing compounds that modulate MC4R activity in animal models of hypertension. Santhera Pharmaceuticals Holding AG has two MC4R antagonists in preclinical development for cachexia-SNT207707 and SNT207858.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
