This study aims to investigate the relationship of physical wellness, intellectual wellness, emotional wellness, subjective happiness and quality of life of employees. The proposed model analyzed 535 employees using Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 2.0. The results of the experiment are as follows: First, physical, intellectual, and emotional wellness positively influenced subjective happiness. Second, subjective happiness positively influence life satisfaction. The results show improve the lives of the employee's quality of life and wellness, happiness. We study life quality, wellness, and happiness on subjective aspects in the workers. Therefore, analyzed result can be a basic research for the lives of the employees' quality.
In this paper, representative social network services(SNS) of Korea, China, and America such as Cyworld, Renren and Facebook were analyzed in regards to their business strategies and successful factors. From the analysis results, it was found that their common business strategies are strengthening a sense of belonging by providing differentiated customer services and by increasing customer satisfaction and this kind of strategies were naturally connected to the corporate marketing. So, Maintaining their own differentiated services, SNS companies should make a constant efforts to meet customers' needs on the base of success factors. Companies which will carry out marketing with SNS should also improve their images through communication with customers, utilizing services provided by SNS companies which match well with companies using SNS as a means of marketing. As various extensive researches are being conducted on SNS which enabled online networking, such findings will be usefully referred for similar researches and will provide theoretical basis and practical guidelines for future researches.
Purpose: The study was to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of the Korean Mother Safe (KMS) counseling center for preventing voluntary pregnancy terminations among women who were inadvertently exposed to potential teratogen.
Methods:We studied 24,807 pregnant women from April 2010 to December 2014. Participants received information on the safety and risk of their inadvertent exposure to therapeutic drugs. The overall cost of the intervention was estimated to be 1,226,000,000 won over the study period of 5 years. Results: Among 24,807 pregnancy exposed to drugs or substances, 20,515 births were estimated based on 82.7% birth rate. In the clinic, the prevention rate of artificial abortion was 34.5% (n= 707). In the call center, the number of the voluntary pregnancy terminations prevented by teratogen-risk counseling were estimated to be 7,852; 5,496; 3,926; or 2,356, depending on whether E 1)
ObjectiveTo evaluate whether increased peripheral blood inflammatory immune cell can induce decrease of uterine blood flow in patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA).
MethodsThis study designed prospectively 33 pregnant women between 5 to 7 gestational weeks with a history of unexplained RSA included in this study. 47 normal pregnant women between 5 to 7 gestational weeks without history of infertility and/or RSA included as a control. Peripheral blood natural killer (pbNK) (CD3 -/56 + ) fractions among peripheral blood monocyte (PBMC) were checked by flow cytometry. Uterine color-pulsed Doppler trans-vaginal ultrasound for evaluation of uterine radial artery RI was checked. Uterine radial artery resistance index (RI) compared between study and control group. After then, uterine radial artery RI was compared between high pbNK cell fraction above 12.1% among PBMC and normal pbNK cells fraction below 12.1%. Correlation between pbNK cell fraction to uterine radial artery RI was also evaluated.
ResultsUterine radial artery RI in early pregnancy was significantly higher in patients with RSA than that of normal control (0.60 ± 0.14 vs. 0.54 ± 0.12, P = 0.039). Especially, the mean value of uterine radial artery RI in RSA patients with elevated pbNK cells was significantly increased than that of normal control (0.62 ± 0.13 vs. 0.54 ± 0.12, P=0.029). Otherwise, pbNK cell fractions among PBMC displayed strong positive correlation to uterine radial artery RI (Pearson's correlation coefficient P=0.001, r = 0.667).
ConclusionIncreased pbNK cells can evoke decreased uterine blood flow by their pro-inflammatory action on micro vascular structure such as uterine radial artery. This can be a one causative mechanism of inducing spontaneous abortion by increased NK cells. But, larger scaled study is needed for clarify our results.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
