اللغة ظاه رة إنسانية فريدة، شغل ت كل أشكال المعرفة، الفلسفة، و الدين، و العلم، و ارتبط ت بكل الظواهر الإنسانيةالأخرى، كالتفكير و الحضارة و الأساطير، و بطبيعة الحال، تباينت المواقف من اللغة، حسب كل شكل معرفي، كما تباينتالعلاقات مع كل ظاهرة إنسانية، و لكن ما يعنينا هنا، هو العلاقة بين اللغة و المق د س )النصوص و الطقوس الدينية( و علاقةاللغة بالفلسفة، فالعلاقة بين اللغة و المقدس قديمة جدا، بقدم الرسالات و الأديان، و هي خلافا لعلاقة اللغة بالفلسفة، و التيتعد حديثة نسبيا، كما أن رؤية الدين مقدسة أما الفلسفة فنقدية. ولعل من الغريب أن تتفق رؤية الدين مع رؤية إحدى المدارسالفلسفية و هي البنيوية، و الذي كان له الأثر الكبير على قبولها في الأوساط العربية، لكون البنيوية قدم ت رؤية تتفق مع الرؤيةالعربية القائمة على قدسية اللغة، و تتمة لذلك لابد من الوقوف على آثار الارتباط بين اللغة و المقدس، على كل منهما.
هل الكون تتحكم فيه الحتمية؟ أم اللاحتمية؟ و ما مدى ارتباط ذلك بحريةة الإنسان؟ و إذا كان الإنسان غير حري، هل هو مسئول عن أفعاله أخلاقيا و قانونيا؟ فكيف يمكن أن نتخيل أن الإنسان مخلوق و حري و مسئول؟ و كيف يمكن أن نتخيل أنه غير حري وله إرادة و ةتحمل المسئولية؟
اللغة هي وعاء الفكر، فاللغة وعاء الفلسفة، وهذه العلاقة الوثيقة، فرضت على الفلاسفة ضرورة البحث في إشكاليات اللغة، تلك الإشكاليات المتعلقة باللغة كنسق، أو الإشكاليات المتعلقة بصلة اللغة مع الفكر والواقع، وبناء على ذلك تشكلت مدارس فلسفية أهمها التحليلية المعاصرة.
لا يتوقف الإنسان، عن طرح الأسئلة، عن القضايا الكبرى التي يواجهها في الحياة، عن مصيره وسبب وجوده وسبب آلامه، وكان يبحث بشكل دائم عن مصدر يجيب على هذه الأسئلة، والدين أحد هذه المصادر، كما حاولت الفلسفة أن تجيب عليها، مع الفارق في أن الدين لا يهتم دائما بالتدليل، ويكتفي بالإيمان، بين ما الفلسفة تطالب بالتدليل، وهذا ما تسبب في الخلاف بينهما، وتشكل تاريخ الفكر الإنساني وفقا لهذه الجدلية، جدلية الإيمان والشك.
