The article is devoted to the study of the impact of digital transformations on the economic security of Ukraine. The article examines the essence of the digital economy, defines the features of the functioning of the economy in the context of digitalization. Based on the indicators of the international consulting company McKinsey and the World Bank, the authors analyzed the impact of digitalization on the economy, highlighted the main advantages and disadvantages of functioning in the digital economy, systematized the problems of economic security in the digital economy and highlighted systemic, structural and industry problems, as well as businesses and individuals. The main issues of economic security include the problems of "digital inequality", the lack of their own element base, changes in the labour market, industrial espionage, manipulation of personal data and others. The authors also identified a tool for monitoring the development of a networked digital society – the Network Readiness Index. The practical contribution was the development of a mechanism to smooth the impact of digital transformation on the economic security of Ukraine.
The article highlights the problems of social security in Ukraine in the context of the food safety. The ratio of growth in rates of subsistence minimum and consumer prices is analyzed. The indicative subsistence level with the preservation of the purchasing power of the basic period is determined. The correlation-regression analysis of the impact of the subsistence minimum and budget expenditures on research and experimental development in the system of the agro-industrial complex on the level of economic availability of food products in Ukraine is conducted.
The lack of comprehensive provision of a sufficient level of economic affordability of food in conditions of social instability and low level of solvency of the population of Ukraine constitutes a threat to the food security of the state. The purpose of the article is to formulate the relationship between the economic affordability of food and the average monthly wage in the country, as well as arrears in its payment. The methodic of work is based on the usage of a correlation-regression analysis of the statistical information that reflects the structure of total household income in Ukraine, which made it possible to calculate the degree of influence of factors of the correlation model on the availability of food for the population. The results of the study indicate a significant stratification of the population in terms of purchasing power. The degree of dependence between the economic availability of food and the average monthly salary in the country, as well as the amount of arrears in its payment, which confirms the need for the government to create a sustainable system of social standards for the population, providing an adequate level of purchasing power, is established.
